Title: The Least of All Possible Mistakes, pt 1/?
Rating: R, for Sherlock. And Lestrade. And Mycroft. And John.
Summary: (BBC Sherlock) If ever a people deserved tasering, it’s Holmeses.

This is my, "What if Gregory Lestrade was Georgiana instead?" exploration, seeded by insomnia, encouraged ruthlessly by [personal profile] mklutz, endured by [profile] twsomething and [personal profile] thehoyden, and thoughtfully edited by [personal profile] leupagus, who is probably still shaking her fist at me for scamming her into reading this story.

Happy reading, part 2 is in the can and should be coming next week.

Sorry for the anon comment (I don't have a dreamwidth account) but I just wanted to say I think you are a terrific writer. You have a wonderful way with words and a tone that manages to be both caustic and heartfelt at the same time. Your characterizations are beautiful, and I loved the way you wrote about Georgiana's marriage and its end, and about her innate sympathy with Mycroft and Sherlock's horror at same. Thanks so much for writing, I really look forward to reading the rest.

Tomorrow's my Friday at work and I really really do not need this distraction from all the crap I have to do...and, and, the book I am trying to read before I have to return it to the library
