Title: The Least of All Possible Mistakes, pt 3/?
Rating: R, for George's job.
Summary: (BBC Sherlock, genderfuck) In which they go to a restaurant that [profile] lazlet wisely noted, "Oh, God, you're right, he would hate this place," George is spared Sherlock's rough affections because poor Dimmock gets them during Blind Banker, and unicorns are still extinct, no matter how much George needs one.

For the record, I think the completed version of this will probably clock in somewhere between 70K-80K, so guessing eight chapters in total. For everyone keeping count at home, total wordcount on my file is currently at 47,912. That's 47,912 words when I probably should have been sleeping.

Anyway, happy reading!

Just out of curiosity, who do you see playing George in your head? I'm guessing everybody else keeps their actors?

Love how the relationship between George and Mycroft is unfolding, all the small touches that make George seem so real.

Sadly unicorns are extinct. But there's always Jurassic Park type cloning :-)

I just wanted to let you know that I find this story both brilliant and incredibly satisfying. It's one of those few-and-far-between stories that plays out as if I am watching it on the screen. Thank you so very much for sharing.

Loving, LOVING this story. Thank you for foregoing sleep :) It's such a fantastically paced love story, and reading a story about an older female character, who is adult in the best senses of the word, is just such a treat. Can't wait for more; this story is a happy place.
