Okay, so I bought an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n WiFi base station from one of my coworkers a while back that didn't seem to work, but I wrote it off because my last computer had carked out in a spectacular way and I assumed it was probably my laptop being a POS. Sadly, with my new laptop I came to the conclusion that it looks like this base station is probably fucked -- I don't have the startup utility disk, but I have the software on my computer. Plugging in the ethernet cord from my ISP results in a sad blinking orange light. I can't seem to get the damn thing to work at all. Hitting the factory restart button doesn't seem to help -- does anyone have any advice? Am I just out the money? What I really want to know is, I guess: Do I need to punch Bryan in the face a lot?
